Kimmel Kamper 20 Gauge Shotgun

A rare collectors item.
They were manufactured in the late 1980's “whippet” gun based on the 20 gauge Savage 94, called the “Kimmel Kamper”. Then popular was a short based overall length of just “26 1/2 inches.” The guns were manufactured to meet but not exceed NFA 1934 length rules.
There were at least two versions. If someone has additional pictures or information on this unique Shotgun, please email them to me so they can be added to this post.

  1. I have a Kimmel Kamper with the short butt stock.
    It's the 20 ga. I bought it when I was living in
    Missouri, back in the mid-80's. I thought it was a cool gun to have. It will throw a good slug.
